The total number of closings in January took a huge jump over prior years! While last January (2024) was a rough month, this January saw an increase of 392% over it! In fact, this January was the best one in over 7 years in terms of total value of homes closed! Its tough to say at this point if the strength of January 2025 will continue but we are happy to see the bump!
In terms of number of homes closed when comparing the number of homes closed over the past 7 years, this January with 20 closings came in second only to 2021 when there were 28.
The average value and median value of homes closed in January were both up also. The average close price for this January was $1,948,250 and the median close price per home was $1,550,000.
