Eanes ISD Announces Closure of Valley View Elementary at End Of Current Semester

Eanes ISD – Valley View Elementary

  • Budget shortfalls projected for 2025/2026 school year caused EISD Board to announce upcoming closure

  • It is reported that his will help Alleviate $2 Million of $3.5M shortfall

  • Board also announced upcoming discontinuing of the Eanes Spanish Immersion program to save an additional $600K per year

  • Valley View Has Been Serving Eanes families since 1981

  • Current plan is to blend Valley View Students into Barton Creek Elementary

  • Other options to alleviate budget shortfall are under evaluation and could include increasing sales tax and possibly selling naming rights to the high school stadium
